The Campsite “Il Rospo” is located near Moneglia, a small and simple town, real beauty of the East Italian Riviera in the Ligura region.
Moneglia is the last village of the Genoa province, facing the sea and surrounded by the hills. The neighboring councils are Riva Trigoso on one side and Deiva Marina, in La Spezia province, on the other.
Moneglia might represent the ideal type of fishing town, protected by a quiet inlet, between the two promontories of Punta Moneglia and Punta Rospo.
Moneglia č collegata a Riva Trigoso e a Deiva Marina tramite una strada detta delle gallerie, alquanto particolare. Si tratta di una strada a senso unico regolata da un impianto semaforico.
Moneglia is connected to Riva Trigoso and Deiva Marina by a rather peculiar road called “of galleries”. That is a one way road controlled by a traffic lights system; For those directed from Riva to Moneglia the traffic lights turns green every hour at 15’ 35’ 55’ minutes, while for those from Deiva to Marina, considering that the time necessary to cover the entire distance is 10 minutes, it turns green at 5’ 25’ 45’ minutes. Similarly, from Moneglia to Deiva it turns green at 5’ 15’ 25’ 35’ 45’ 55’ minutes and from Deiva to Moneglia at 0’ 5’ 10’ 20’ 30’ 40’ minutes.
The Campsite lies to the east of Moneglia, exactly at Le Marine town.
In order to get to the Campsite from Riva Trigoso you will pass the first gallery in the direction of Deiva Marina and turn the first road on your right. Vice versa from Deiva Marina you will find it exiting the last but one gallery and turning the first on your left.
It is within reach either by car or train.
